Our Work

Boots on the ground

NO MESSING AROUND - WE CUSTOMIZE EACH PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS HOUSING PLAN AND WE FIND TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT HOUSING

Immediate Housing

We work with our homeless program participants to learn more about their current needs and assist them with immediate housing with a follow up appointment to create a personalized housing plan to help them secure permanent housing and gain necessary community resources.

Housing Case Management

Every program participant is assigned a Housing Counselor to assess their current housing situation and provide resources to get them on the right path to finding permanent housing and needed resources.

Community Linkages

Every program participant has different circumstances, therefore, we customize their housing plan to include community resources, such as documentation services, help filling out and submitting rental applications, transportation assistance, healthy food sources, medical/addiction resources, clothing and more.

meet our program Graduates

Meet our most recent permanent placement, William.  Our relationship with the EBALDC team made it possible for William to obtain permanent affordable housing in Oakland less than six months after working with our housing counselor.

Meet Persie.  Persie joined our family in 2021.  We placed him in our transitional housing program located in San Francisco. After many tough love incidences with Persie, we were able to move him from the transition program into a rehab facility at the Walden House.  Persie worked very hard to rebuild his life and has been clean since.  We recently moved Persie into affordable permanent housing in Oakland, April 2023. Our relationship with The John Steward Company made this possible.

Megan joined Strive Real Estate in April 2023 as the Administrative Assistant in our corporate office, through the CalWORKs AC Hire program. Megan, a mother of four (4), was homeless, living with her mother and beginning a new life for her and her children. After working with our Housing Counselor, Leah Salgado, Megan within 60 days secured a 3-bedroom, permanent affordable apartment, including in-kind donations for move-in funds, furniture, food, and household items. Our Housing First model helped Megan to rebuild her job skills, be a role-model and an example of what’s possible for others through our housing programs.
